What We Believe About

The Bible

We believe the Old & New Testaments of the Bible to be God’s inspired message to mankind and that in it, God reveals the plan of salvation and provides us with His blueprint for our lives.  We believe the Bible alone is inerrant as originally given and the complete revelation of His will for salvation to all mankind. We value the Bible above all other factors, including philosophies and educational psychology. (2 Timothy 3:14-16)

What We Believe About

God

We believe there is only one living and true God who is perfect in all His attributes, one in essence but eternally existing in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, each equally deserving the same worship and obedience. (John 14:8-21; Deut. 6:4; Isaiah 45:5-7)

What We Believe About

Jesus

We believe Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God, being fully man and fully God, and that he chose to humble himself and become a man for the purpose of dying on the cross for our sins.  We believe Jesus clearly claimed he was the Messiah and one with God. (John 10:22-42, Philippians 2:1-11)
The Bible provides us with the revelation of Jesus and the Heavenly Father Himself. Our ultimate purpose in life is to know, worship, and serve Him. We place value on this relationship and worship of God, as well as service to Him. We believe that Jesus and His Word are the truth on which we base our lives and our Church (Romans 12:1-2; Ephesians 4:15).

What We Believe About

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is sent to live inside, guide, teach, empower the believer, as well as, to convince the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment. (John 14:16-26; 16:5-15; Ephesians 1:13-14)

What We Believe About

Salvation

We believe salvation is through personal faith in Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for sin. Salvation is by grace, through faith. Works of any kind are a result of salvation, not a means to it. We believe that Jesus Christ is the only means of salvation and that no one is saved apart from a decision to trust in Christ as his or her Savior. (Acts 4:12 & 13:38-39; Romans 6:23; Ephesians 1:4-5; 2:8-9; John 14:6-7; Romans 10:8-13)

What We Believe About

Mankind

We believe men and women were created in the image and likeness of God but fell through disobedience, leading to physical and spiritual death.  All men and women are born with a sinful nature and can be saved only through the sacrificial work of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Genesis 1:26-28; John 14:6-7; Romans 1:18-3:20)

What We Believe About

The Church

We believe in one holy body of Christ, which is made up of all people who have been saved by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and who seek to serve, love, and obey him. These believers are united together as the living body of Christ, with Jesus as the head of the Church. The local expression of the global church exists wherever believers gather and organize as the local church, which provides opportunities for fellowship, growth, teaching, and serving by using one's spiritual gifts as given by the Holy Spirit.

What We Believe About

Marriage

We believe marriage was designed by God to be the life-long union of one man and one woman (as genetically born), and only within the context of marriage does sexual intimacy have God’s blessing. (Gen 2:24; Mark 10:2-9; Hebrews 13:4).

What We Believe About

Family

We believe that God has entrusted us as parents with the education and discipleship of our children. We value biblically based teaching and training as the means for successfully raising children up to be men and women of God.  We believe doing so is a priority and mandate for us as parents. (Deuteronomy 6:4-7; Proverbs 22:6; Ephesians 6:4).

What We Believe About

Walking in Faith

We worship in Spirit and in Truth (John 4:24), engaging both our hearts and our heads. We intercede with patience and passion knowing that God is the God of both creation and re-creation (Romans 8:18-27).

We seek to minister with God employing His method of ministering, with discernment and openness, seeking Him as the Giver and using the gifts He has given to His Church (1 Corinthians).

We seek, through God’s grace, to equip the saints for the work of the ministry reproducing authentic Christians through discipleship and mentoring. We look for opportunities to do works of service so that the Church will be built up (Ephesians 4:10-13; 2 Timothy 2:1-7).

We evangelize the multitudes, one by one, wanting to see both conversion and deliverance (Mark 16:15-17).

We are marked by the way we love each other (John 13:34-35), through grace and forgiveness operating in the fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-26).
